Samsung will build a $17 billion chip plant in Texas. https://www.nytimes.com/2021/11/23/tech ... texas.html This is an enormous investment in a manufacturing facility. From what I've read, the Tesla Giga factory in Germany is around $4 to $5 billion. The massive Toyota battery factory south of GSO is reported to be around $1.3 billion. From what I've read, the Toyota battery factory has the potential to be a precursor to an EV automotive manufacturing facility but $17 billion is incredible. |
